Dear community members,
Our server (Infection) is running for 4 years now this summer, so it is time for the great cleaning. We are scheduling to update the server to a new operating system this summer, as well make nessecary updates to the hardware on the machines. The cause of this is that our primary operating system is 2 major versions behind, and the new OS will improve server stability and speed. This will require the server to be brought down for maintenance which can take an entire weekend before we are 'barely' running again. And even more until all supporting scripts are in place again. The way it looks now, we will bring down the server on FRIDAY the 29th of September at 10:00 (GMT+1) in the morning, and we hope it will be in working order again on the following sunday. Het forum draait op de neie webserver ja (die in Amsterdam). Voorheen draaide die op nachtkast. (beiden niks te maken met infection of contagion dus.  ) |
